Karen left Sydney university in 1980 and began her career as a Maths teacher. She taught for three years in government schools and then for two and a half years at a Christian Community School. She left teaching in 1985 to begin a different career as a mother.
Karen has continued to use her teaching skills in areas such as leading Kids Club at the local church, leading a course for parents called Enjoying Families, and leading a local bible study group for women.
As the Aibee Architects business grew, so did Karen's involvement in it, so that now she is working part time as the business financial manager and secretary.
Karen is proficient with WordPerfect, Quatro Pro, Microsoft Office, and MYOB software packages.
