Karen left Sydney University in 1980 and began her career as a Maths teacher. She taught for five years until 1985, when she began a different career as a mother.
As the Aibee Architects business grew, so did Karen's
involvement in it. She became a part time worker at
Aibee Architects whilst continuing to nurture her
children. She found ways to express her love of teaching
in a volunteer capacity at various church activities.
She has recently completed further studies in adult
education and pastoral care.
Her part time role at Aibee Architects is as the financial administrator and secretary.
